| BETTER TIMING |
 When Jeremiah Cassidy's ability first developed, it didn't take long for The Company to track him down and toss him in Level 5 - a "threat" to the public. Cut off from everyone he ever knew, the only contact he had was with Elle Bishop. Over the five years he was stuck there, Jeremiah found himself inexplicably attached to the blonde, wanting to save her despite knowing she didn't want to be saved.
When Sylar made a move on Level 5, shorting out Elle in the process, Jeremiah made a break for it. Escaping was easy and he kept a low profile. The following years found him caught up with a government conspiracy to round up evolved humans, cost him the death of family members, and then left him stuck in a carnival full of people just like him. It was there he met Hiro Nakamura and convinced the time-traveling man to take him back to save the one person he couldn't get off his mind - Elle.
Hiro delivered him to the beach just in time to stop Sylar from finishing the job. The scuffle was a brief one with Jeremiah using his ability to best the other man and take Elle away from him. Back at the carnival, Jeremiah healed Elle and then let her walk away, giving her the chance at life she deserved. The only problem? Sylar was still out there and not only had he taken his kill from him, but Jeremiah had shown him the one ability that could finally make him as powerful and special as he always wanted to be. |
